optime enim cum sacra scriptura congruit, quod panis adsit et maneat, sicut Paulus ipse nominat [1 Cor. 10,16]: panis, quem frangimus.  Et [1 Cor. 11,28]: ita edat de pane.

optime – very good, very well; enim – for; cum – with; sacra scriptura – holy scripture; congruit – agree; quod – that; panis – bread; adsit – is present; maneat – remains; sicut – just like, just as; ipse – himself; nominat – says; quem – which; frangimus – we break; ita – thus; edat – eat [jussive subjunctive]; de – from, of; pane - bread

for it agrees well with holy scripture, that the bread is present and remains, just as Paul says, 1 Cor. 10:16: bread, which we break.  And 1 Cor. 11:28: thus, let him eat of the bread

non enim indigemus doxosophia ista, quae nos doceat sub una specie tantum esse quantum sub utraque, sicut sophistae et Concilium Constantiense docent.

enim – for; indigemus – need, require; doxosophia – conceit of wisdom, specious wisdsom [German has "hohen Kunst" - "high art"]; ista – that; quae – which; nos – us; doceat – teaches; sub – under; una – one; specie – kind; tantum – only; esse – to be, is; quantum – so much; utraque – both; sicut – just as, just like; docent – teach

for we do not need that conceit of wisdom / that high art, which teaches us [that] under one kind there is as much as under both [kinds], just as the sophists and the Council of Constance teach
